Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a family of faith with loving, committed parents. He was the oldest of four children born to the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina, and the mother of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her faith in God's grace upon her son from a young age.

The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. Reverend Ken the brother of Ken is the revered minister of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) in which several gospel artists are among the best-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, who is a fervent philanthropist founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Inter (COFI) as a non-profit, nongovernmental organisation that seeks to help communities that are most vulnerable and those living in the most deprived areas of the world.

In addition to preaching the Gospel, the Man of God also founded a number of NGOs that have the mission of providing vital services and hope for the needy, poor or uninformed. Five partners form part of COFI, all working together to raise living standards in the poorest areas.

COFI is responsible for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and in addition to the Bible For All Mission.
